Bank15: Branding & Communication Consultancy & Project Management
BANK15 is a Dutch organization dedicated to strengthening communities through art, music, food, and culture. They focus on redeveloping iconic spaces into vibrant hubs that blend social impact with commercial viability. Their projects often include hospitality venues, event spaces, studios, and exhibition areas, fostering creativity and connection among entrepreneurs and artists.
One notable project is the transformation of De Glasfabriek in Schiedam. This historic glass factory site is being redeveloped into a dynamic urban district that combines residential, work, and recreational spaces. The development aims to preserve the site’s industrial heritage while introducing new urban functions, creating a lively and inclusive community.
Since 2024, SOBA Studio has been collaborating with BANK15 as a branding and communications consultancy for De Glasfabriek project. Our role involves crafting brand campaigns, developing communication strategies, and creating storytelling content. These efforts are designed to engage both the current placemaking community of Bank15 and for developers Blauwhoed and Dudok, to engage the future residents, local citizens, and entrepreneurs. Our aim is to foster a strong sense of community and connection within this exciting, evolving space in Schiedam.
