Case: event concept, production, communications and PR
CIC Rotterdam asked Soba Studio take care of the PR and social media during the start up year in 2016. Also, we were honoured to organise the opening event of CIC Rotterdam and Venture Cafe Rotterdam in Het Groothandelsgebouw in 2016. We created the event outlines and programming, including a virtual reality room, 3D printing, musical performances, ethical hacking demonstration countless workshops, and last but not least: pole dancing robots. Furthermore, we hosted a CIC Exit Game, demonstrations by IBM Watson, Live Elevator Pitches and the CIC World Expo, with more than 100 startups and innovation partners. Most notably, the welcome remarks came by His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn Special Envoy, StartupDelta, Mayor Aboutaleb and Alderman Struijvenberg.
Our latest project for CIC Rotterdam was organising the opening party of the expansion of CIC with 4,000 m2 of new workplaces in 2018. More than 200 start ups and companies house in the great inspiring work spaces of CIC, and many more to join. In collaboration with Avenue Concordia.
